We have reached the third round stage of Nottinghamshires top non league knock out competition and this is where it starts to hot up.All the seeded teams have now entered and are ready to do battle.Alas the likes of Radford and Billbrough Pelican have failed to make it to the third round but there is still plenty to look forward to
Eastwood Town v Arnold Town
Carlton Town v Gedling Miners Welfare
Newark Town v Dunkirk
Forest Town v Boots Athletic
Southwell city v Gedling Town
Retford United v Hucknall Town
Rainworth miners welfare v Teversal
Kirkby Town v Blidworth
My thoughts (for what they are worth) are that Arnold will get hammered at Eastwood who i would say are the favourites.Match of the round see,s holders Retford United take on fellow Unibond premier side Hucknall with each side already beaten the other this season.The only NSL side Boots Athletic will Fancy causing an upset at Forest town to keep the flag for Nottinghamshires lowest standard of league flying high.Dunkirk going well in the EMC this year should see off Newark.I would like to see Rainworth have a good run and they have a kind draw at home to Teversal.
