It would be fair to say that Sunday through to Tuesday weren't the best few days for my sporting teams (bar the Nottingham Panthers who spanked both Hull and Newcastle this week)
Firstly on Sunday night i took a nights holiday off to watch Pittsburgh Steelers prime time showdown with the New Orleans saints only for the offence to forget to turn up in what was a dreadful 20-10 points defeat. Thus putting us in 2nd place in the AFC North on head to head behind the Ratbirds.
Then on Tuesday not one but two crappy results. Inter going down 3-1 at Spurs was bad enough but not nearly as bad as Lincolns crappy 2-0 defeat to Northampton at Sincil Bank. Since Steve Tilson has been here it has all been pretty positive but this was a reminder, if one was needed, that we still have a hell of a lot of work to do if we are going to stay up. At least the pre match chips were nice.
Just to complete my mood. When you have seen your team thumped at home, its raining and you are about to start a night shift and knowing you took a few hours off to watch a crappy game this song really isn't what you want to hear blasting out when you walk into work at about 10.30pm. Alas i did.
Just a little old blog when i charter my journey watching football and rebuilding my mental health and confidence while hopefully entertaining, educating and re-addressing the past.
